Dr. Al Attar is accomplished and experienced in many aspects of family dentistry, including extractions, endodontics, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and restorative and preventive services. At his practice, Main Street Smiles, in Berryville, Virginia,

Dr. Al Attar focuses on caring for every family member and takes great care to ensure patient comfort by offering several forms of conscious sedation.

Dr. Al Attar completed his BA in Biology from the University of Virginia in 2001. In 2005, he graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Al Attar spent a 2-year residency at the Hunter McGuire Veterans Administration Center in Richmond, Virginia. As part of his residency, he acquired certification to do IV sedation and training in advanced dental procedures such as Implant placement and restoration.

Throughout his career, Dr. Al Attar has worked in offices from Toronto, Ontario, and Buffalo, NY, and then home to Northern Virginia. He joined Family First dental center in 2014 as an associate dentist to meet our team. He assumed the owner and lead dentist after a successful transition in that practice (now Family First Smiles).

Dr. Al Attar is married to his love of 19 years, Rose. Together they have two young boys, Josef and Dani. They now call Leesburg home and enjoy family outings as well as traveling.
